5. Mrs. Oyelese was my son's preschool teacher when he was 4 years old. Though my son can be trying, Mrs. Oyelese always maintained a calm voice of reason. To this day, now that he is Grade 1, he still asks when he can have Mrs. Oyelese as his teacher again. 6. My daughter was a part of Karen's preschool for two years. As a parent I was happy with Karen's approach to teaching. I felt as though she cared a great deal for the children and guided them according to their ability. My daughter to this day has wonderful memories of Karen and her class room. Being a part of her classroom was a wonderful experience for my daughter and I.

7. My son was in Mrs Oyelese class for 2.5 years. And he still talks about how much fun he had with her, the crafts and story time, oh and don't forget show and tell. Her class was always warm and inviting. Karen is very easy to talk to about any concerns or questions. I always was told about my child's progress and what was happening in class that day. I love how she would make sure to pronounce all the letters and sounds as she talked; it really helped improve my child speech as he was behind in speech. Over all we had a GREAT experience with Mrs Oyelese and would definitely recommend her for all my friends’ kids. We will definitely be back with any future children.

8.Karen Oyelese is a truly gifted educator. She is an extraordinarily talented at connecting with her students (and parents) and educating in a creative and engaging way, and all through the play. We had our daughter in her class and we can’t say enough great things about her, especially after having a previous experience with another preschool. Karen gave our daughter incredible start to her schooling. She was always encouraging and understanding. She genuinely cared about every child in her class and was endlessly patient. She is a gentle, kind, hardworking, well organized and committed teacher, good listener and someone who will understand your child no matter what personality he or she is. We were lucky to have her in our lives and I would highly recommend her without any reservation to any parent looking for a top quality child care and early education.

9. I’ve know Karen for about 3 years now, She was my daughter’s preschool teacher for 2 years. Karen is such a great teacher and takes the time not only to teach her kids but actually get to know them. My daughter has a severe peanut allergy and when attending Karen’s class she always went above and beyond to make sure Jaden was safe, whether that meant communicating with me about items that were concerning for her to give Jaden or changing treats to accommodate my daughter. She just truly cares about your children and is passionate about her career which is why I believe she is such a great teacher. Karen makes sure your kids are more than ready for Kindergarten. She is great at teaching skills like reading, writing and better social skills. She is also so patient with kids and takes time to work with them on things they need help with. My daughter absolutely loved her and even now that she’s in 1st grade always brings up Mrs. Oyelese. I would recommend Karen in a heart beat to anyone looking for a great preschool teacher. 10. During the time that my kids were under Karen’s tutelage she was nothing more than spectacular. Karen is fun, inspiring and is an example to everyone when it comes to personal habits. Whenever I left my kids at her school when I had to work, not only were they always happy to go but I always knew I left them in good hands. Karen, thank you for your time, teachings and for setting the right example to my kids.

1. Karen is a mindful teacher who understands each child’s needs and rights. She is committed and responsible. I admired her determination and commitment to any project, I wish she continued working with us. However, we are happy she is able to continue influencing positively many other children in Calgary. If your child is close to her your child will surely be a lucky one! It only takes a few minutes to see her potential. Thank you Karen for your hard work and I hope one day our paths cross again. 2. It was a real pleasure working with Karen at the Fun N More Pre School. Karen was a very dedicated teacher, and was always willing to go above her call of duty. She was always very helpful with the kids, and several of them took a strong liking to her. Parents were also very fond of Karen, as were the rest of the staff at the facility. I would happily send my kids to the Eko Play School, if they were still of age. She was a joy to work with and I beileve students and parents at Eko Playschool would love her work and dedication. -Kemi Toriola
